Why have my fingernails gone soft? Am I lacking in some nutrient or another? They keep bending and breaking. I want long nails. Why must they defy me.

I WANT A CAR. I'm so sick of taking the bus with the dirty psychos in this city. Okay that was mean. But I've been permanently scarred by the schizophrenic who smacked me in the face trying to close my window and then spent the rest of the trip blowing his nose into his hand. I got off the bus at city centre and scrubbed my face off with pink public-bathroom soap, but the mental anguish still remains.

Neat, there's a Meatloaf cover of that Celine Dion song It's All Coming Back to Me. I always thought there was something awfully Meatloaf about that song. Surely it must have been written by the same guy who wrote I Would do Anything for Love (But I Won't do that). So I guess it's only natural that Meatloaf would cover it sooner or later. What a memory trip, I wonder if I still have my Meatloaf CDs...

I'm trying to get back into the habit of writing, but today isn't going to be the day for any actual thoughts. I have that bad, bad, very bad feeing right now that something is about to happen. I think it's my body telling me I'm about to be very, very ill. Last year when I had that horrible throwing up and passing out and whacking my head on the bathtub adventure, this is how I felt all day beforehand. And in addition to the sense of impending doom I'm also having trouble breathing today and I've got that tired and achy feeling, like I weigh about a thousand pounds and dragging my body around is too much for me... maybe it's that flu or whatever it is, that's going around the office. I should have signed up for the flu shot clinic while I had the chance.

Maybe I'll go lie down and watch Dead Like Me. And drink tea and honey.

Must update. Not much to say though. I'm halfway through my week off already, amazing. Went shopping, couldn't find anything practical though. I bought a sweater but it's 85% acrylic and 15% wool, so really I have no idea how I will ever wash it. I'll wear it twice and then it will sit in the bottom of my closet for the rest of my life I'm sure. I also bought a wicked purple top but it's all-cotton, so it will look like crap after I wear it once. Cotton always gets stretched out and pregnant-looking, I need to find some good poly-blend.

Yay. I'm boring.
